Who I Am

Hey everyone, I'm John, a cybersecurity major and full-stack software developer from the Pacific Northwest, USA. I've been using the handle name Kidpresident(with a D) across dozens of platforms for over 10 years and its actually the name I gave my music solo project as well. I'm in my late thirties and a proud father to a five-year-old son(and a cat if you hadn't guessed). My passion lies in threat hunting, identifying security vulnerabilities, and developing software that solves real-world problems and improves lives.

Beyond tech, I've been writing and playing music since I was 13, though I don't have as much time for it these days. I'm also a lifelong gamer, and gaming has become one of my favorite ways to connect with my son. Being a '90s kid, I've got a soft spot for the classics—Final Fantasy (back when Square Enix was Squaresoft), Metal Gear Solid, Smash Bros, Apex Legends, Rivals of Aether, Overwatch, and lately, some Black Ops 6.

My Crypto Journey & Why I'm Here

I first fell in love with cryptocurrency when Bitcoin first launched, but I only started exploring meme coins more recently. Like most self-taught traders, I've lost a disgusting amount of money on scam coins and rug pulls. That's when I decided—why not launch my own?

I firmly believe that a strong community and a worthy project hold far more value than a short-lived cash grab. Anyone can rug one coin, but building a solid reputation opens doors for long-term success, continuous growth, and real innovation. I'm not a content creator or a social media guru, so my goal is to nurture an organic, like-minded community from the ground up—starting with KitPresident.

Future Plans: More Than Just a Meme Coin

I've set up a Discord for KitPresident, but I'm also building a dedicated web forum, which should go live within the next month or so. My schedule is insane, and I'm the only person working on it, but I'm pushing to get it up as soon as possible.

Originally, this forum was meant to focus on cybersecurity and hacking, so the branding reflects that. However, I've decided to expand it into a hub for meme coin communities as well. Instead of having just a single "Cryptocurrencies" section, I'm restructuring the site to better support new and emerging meme coin projects.

Why a Web Forum Instead of Just Discord?

Meme coin Discord servers are often swarmed with scammers and bad actors, making moderation difficult. A forum-based platform offers:
✅ Better moderation – Easily manage user access and filter out bad actors.
✅ Reputation-based ranking – Users earn credibility over time, making scams harder to pull off.
✅ Stronger networking – Easier for devs, marketers, and community members to connect meaningfully.
✅ Lower barriers for new projects – No need for expensive promotions or a massive social media presence.

If you're an early adopter of KitPresident , I'll be looking for moderators and community leaders to help maintain and improve the forum when it goes live. If that sounds like something you'd be into, let's talk!
